Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 22, 2026.

Labor Saver LLC ("Labor Saver," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to www.laborsaver.com and the software, dashboards, and hardware services we provide (together, the "Services").

1. Who This Policy Covers

Labor Saver is primarily a business-to-business provider. We work with two main groups of people:

  • Business customers and their staff who create accounts and use our booking software, call button system, and temperature monitoring system.

  • Guests of our business customers who submit information through a customer's booking form, for example when reserving a party.

When a business customer uses our Services to collect information from its own guests, that business decides what to collect and why. In that situation we act as a service provider or processor on the business's behalf, and the business's own privacy policy also applies. This policy describes our own practices.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us:

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your first and last name, email address, and a password (which we store only in hashed form).

  • Business information. Details about your business needed to set up and run the Services, such as business name, contact details, and service configuration.

  • Booking information. When a guest completes a booking form, we store the information that form collects, which typically includes the contact's name, email, and phone number, the celebrant's name and age, the event details, and any answers to custom questions the business added to its form.

  • Payment information. When you make or take a payment, our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal) handle your card or account details. We receive limited information such as a payment token, the amount, a confirmation, and related metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

  • Communications. Information you provide when you contact us for support or sales, or when you respond to our messages.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and log data. Like most websites, we automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and timestamps, recorded in our server logs and monitoring tools.

  • Cookies. We use a single secure session cookie to keep you signed in and to operate the Services. See Section 5.

  • Hardware data. Our call button and temperature monitoring devices send operational data to the Services, such as button presses, response times, sensor readings, and device status. This data is generally about your operations and equipment rather than about identifiable individuals.

What we do not collect. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as race, religion, political affiliation, household income, health information, precise geolocation, or biometric data. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children (see Section 9). We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services;

  • process payments and manage subscriptions and orders;

  • send transactional messages such as account notices, booking confirmations, receipts, and system alerts by email or text;

  • provide customer support and respond to your requests;

  • monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance and reliability of the Services;

  • send you service-related or marketing communications, from which you can opt out at any time; and

  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only to provide their services to us. These currently include:

  • Google Cloud (Datastore, Cloud Storage, Text-to-Speech, Cloud Trace): hosting, data storage, file storage, generating voice announcements for the paging system, and application performance monitoring and tracing.

  • Cloudflare: content delivery and proxy services that route traffic to the Services and may process technical data such as IP addresses.

  • Stripe and PayPal: payment processing.

  • SendGrid (a Twilio service): sending transactional and notification emails.

  • Twilio: sending text message and voice alerts to your staff.

We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with the law or legal process, to enforce our agreements, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Labor Saver, our customers, or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy).

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use a single secure, signed session cookie that keeps you logged in and allows the Services to function. If you choose "remember me," the session lasts longer. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on our Services.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the Services may not work properly without the session cookie. Because we do not sell or share personal information, opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) have nothing to act on.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and then for any period required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. Some operational data, such as paging and temperature logs, may be summarized or compressed over time. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Business customers can request deletion of their account data as described below.

7. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed account passwords, access controls, and reputable cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and any applicable authorities without undue delay and as required by law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it;

  • the right to access or receive a copy of your personal information;

  • the right to correct inaccurate personal information;

  • the right to request deletion of your personal information;

  • the right to opt out of marketing communications; and

  • the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

You can update most account information directly in the Services, unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email we send you, or contact us at [email protected] to exercise any of these rights. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond providing the Services, so there is no separate use to limit. You have the rights described above, including the right to opt out of sale or sharing (which we do not do) and the right not to be treated differently for exercising your rights. In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

Other U.S. states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out, and in some states the right to appeal a decision about a request. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights or to appeal.

United States only. The Services are intended for businesses and users in the United States. We operate the Services in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored there. We do not target or knowingly offer the Services to individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some booking forms may include a celebrant's age, but that information is provided by the adult making the booking, not collected directly from a child. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to Other Sites

Our Services may link to websites we do not operate, including those of payment providers and business customers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date and, where appropriate or required, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
